乙酰胺別名醋酰胺，分子式是CH3CONH2，乙酰胺化學(xué)合成工藝主要是醋酸和氨脫水，也可以由乙酰氯、乙酐或乙酸乙酯和氨作用而得。
乙酸中的羥基被氨基取代而生成的化合物。分子式CH3CONH2 。無色晶體。熔點82.3℃，沸點221.2℃，相對密度0.9986（85/4℃）。溶于水和乙醇。極純的乙酰胺沒有氣味，商品乙酰胺有臭味，這是含有少量雜質(zhì)的緣故。具有酰胺的一般性質(zhì) 。工業(yè)上乙酰胺是由乙酸銨150～200℃加熱失水制備。廣泛用作有機物和無機物的溶劑。具有微弱堿性，可做清漆、炸藥和化妝品的抗酸劑。還可作染色的潤濕劑、塑料的增塑劑，也是制造藥物和殺菌劑的原料。乙酰胺氯化或溴化生成的N-鹵代乙酰胺，是有機合成的鹵化試劑。
乙酰胺有多種用途，在化工、塑料、染料、醫(yī)藥、農(nóng)藥等行業(yè)應(yīng)用廣泛。
